Sodium silicofluoride and hydrofluorosilicic acid are the waste products from the wet scrubber systems of the fertilizer industry, and are classified as hazardous wastes. SIDENOTE: The City Council and Mayor will vote on January 28th regarding the issue of continuing to add Fluoride to the Dallas Area Water Supply. Hydrofluorosilicic acid is used. If the vote is passed, a three year contract will be in place which continues the addition of Hydrofluorosilicic acid into the tap water. The cost is over a million dollars. The RAW WATER (before Fluoride is added) already contains a substantial amount of Fluoride for those who desire Fluoride. The Raw Water contains 0.5ppm (or more) of Fluoride. A person drinking FOUR 16.9 oz bottles of RAW WATER would receive a 1 mg dose of Fluoride. Taken internally, this Raw Water alone is a very high dose of Fluoride.
